Experience
J Evans Appraisals has completed appraisals for attorneys, individuals, institutions, and fiduciary representatives. We have completed appraisals for donations to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Peabody-Essex Museum; Harvard University; Dartmouth College; Northwestern University; Williams College; Boston College; the Massachusetts Historical Socirty; the Albany Institute of History & Art; the Boston Athenæum; the Norman B. Leventhal Map & Education Center at the Boston Public Library; the Mystic Seaport Museum; and Strawbery Banke Museum.
Our principal and owner, Jennifer P. Evans, is an Accredited Member, Appraisers Association of America (AAA) and holds degrees from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University (MA); and Wellesley College (BA). Jennifer holds a certificate from the Rhode Island School of Design’s Continuing Education Program for Appraisal Studies in Arts & Antiques in affiliation with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Jennifer has worked in galleries in New York and Boston, and has been a professional appraiser for over 10 years.
